Project 52: Week 52

The end.

It's been a good, hard, bad, long, wonderful year. But God has been faithful, and that's all that matters. Here's a few pictures from the last week of the year:

The last birthday of the year. (Besides Jesus's)

The tree overflowed this year. I'm blessed with a family that loves to give.

She played Santa for a while

We took a short road trip with my brother's fiancèe to visit our Grannie in West Texas. They had gotten snow  there for Christmas and she shared the remainder with us. :)

Project 52:Weeks 50 & 51

More Christmas happenings

I'm ready for Christmas! I got this fun idea from pinterest.

Rainbows in December are a bit unexpected, but it's still a beautiful sign that God does indeed keep His promises.

We had a beautiful fiery sunset the same day.

One of the highlights of my year is making peppermint park for Christmas!

Some of the decorations for my church's Christmas party that my mom planned.

Merry Christmas!!!

Project 52: Week 49

As the year is getting closer to an end, I've been finding it harder to keep up with the posts for project 52. But I'm determined to finish it! Here's a few from last week.

My brother is just a little bit excited about his wedding in March!

School is a little harder to keep going in December

Our Advent calender. I did take this on the 8th.
I've been trying to get this shaped bokeh to work ever since I got my DSLR. I finally decided it only works at 55 or longer lens, so it definitely wasn't working for my 18-55 kit lens. The picture below is *almost there* but it's kinda quirky so I rather like it.

Then I found a snowflake punch, and that was much better.

I love how December sparkles

Project 52: Week 46 & 47

The first ones are a few shots from family camp, which was over all too soon!

The first night we had a campfire time, which was very welcome as it was a bit chilly!

Morning devotions

We always have a corn toss tournament at family camp. This time the competition was pretty stiff, but everyone had fun playing! This set is one my family just finished right before the camp started. It will be nice to have it around to practice on.

And then there was Thanksgiving, which was a little different for us this year because we got to celebrate it at home with friends who we hadn't even met last year. It was a good day, and we had some really good food! I found so much to be thankful for this year! God has been so good.

We had a lot of pies!

And see, the corn toss has already come in handy! :)
