Project 52: Week 43

 This week:

The burn ban was lifted for the first time in months

Another sister had a birthday

My camera did something weird

We made our first cake without Mom's help

We were just a little bit stressed. :)

Dad and the youngest brother tore a hole in the wall for our new fireplace

We had a hole that was only covered in plastic that night.

The guys began building the chimney up

We are relieved the cake's over and happy we'll have a fireplace on cold nights this winter!

Project 52: Week 42

This was a very busy week, so I didn't really take that many pictures. This is what I have:

I got to experiment making nutella meringues. Nutella is some of the best stuff on earth! I found the recipe on Pinterest and it had a link to this blog creampuffsinvenice.ca that had the actual recipe. They were seriously amazing and something I'll definitely try again if I ever get my hands on some more nutella. (it goes like lightning around my house)

In the oven
The finished product!
Hens and chicks

 Have a happy week!

Project 52: Week 41

Wow. The year is rapidly drawing to a close! Time always seems to go faster the later in the year it is. There's only 11 more weeks of project 52 left. Hopefully I can get all the rest of them done on the right days. :)

Fall is a big birthday time in my family, and since my family is so big, there's going to be a lot of birthday-related pictures this fall.

Decorations for my sister's sweet 16

The birthday girl herself
Fall decorations are almost as happy as Christmas decorations. :)

My birthday began the right way, with a little rain in the morning.

Having fun with reflections

We have a lot of time to kill at church on Wednesdays, so I had a mini photoshoot with the youngest two this time.

Getting some FBI (Faith Bible Institute) homework in under the pavilion

Project 52: Weeks 39 & 40

After taking over 2000 photos on our trip, I needed a little break. I have a few pictures from week 39 that I thought I'd share with this week's post.

It's beginning to look and feel like fall, my favorite season.

A strange bug my youngest sister found in her book bag

Thankful decor made of natural material found on the land

Someone was very excited to get down the fall decorations on the first day of October!

Another project
There's little bits of fall loveliness outside, if you look close.

I think this is the second tomato our garden has given us this year!
