"I'm dreaming of a White Christmas..."

Not that big of a deal, you think? Snow on Christmas? In Texas, it's a miracle! Especially since there was no snow at all last winter! There were lots of happy faces around here and it was a Christmas to remember! The last white Christmas the DFW area saw was 70 years ago! I still can't believe it! "Thank you God, it was such an unexpected blessing!"

I haven't been posting a lot lately, I've been so busy, but I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Christmas pictures of this year!

Lillian

This is the shoot I did with Lilly a few weeks ago. The dress is a dress that all of the granddaughters on my dad's side of the family wore and most got a picture taken in.

Audrey and Cherise were helping me and wanted to get in a picture too.

I was using Cherise to test out the light on the front porch for a shoot with Lilly, and I love how this turned out!

Recently

...in September we went to the Zoo....

...went out for a friend's birthday...

....Audrey had a birthday party in September....

...a lot of her friends came...

I thought this would look good with a texture.We took some back lit pictures just because...

...We're finally building our living room!!!

Melissa had a birthday...

...and this was her cake....I got to have a birthday celebration at The Olive Garden...

A couple of good friends came along...

And a lot more happened that didn't get captured! Life is busy, but good!

School

It's that time of year again....

Today is the last day of our first week starting school back. We have lots of new supplies (fun). Some of the kids are having a little hard time adjusting. But it's getting better.

Lilly doesn't really have to do school yet, but she begs to. Just today she said she wanted to do school all day!
